There’s a baby in there!!!
After a long road of trying to get pregnant with baby #2 I’m thrilled to announce it finally happened. 🙂 We’re due with baby #2 at the end of May 2017. We don’t plan to find out baby’s gender – I love the idea of a big surprise at birth – but my gut says it’s a girl. We’ll be happy either way of course so we just have all our hopes on a healthy baby.
As thrilled as we are to be expecting, it also is a bit scary… the idea of going back to newborn days is a little unnerving. (Newborn is SO not my fave stage.) But we’re just taking it one day at a time. We’re slowly going through all of little man’s old baby things and eventually plan to have all the gender neutral separated out so that if it’s another boy we’re all set, but if it’s a girl we’ll be able to turn around and put those items in our summer garage sale. (Then use those funds to buy second hand clothes for baby girl!)
So our life path is changing. A little bit each week. But we need to start heading in a slightly different path than we expected, so it’s time for a new goal. A goal I NEVER in a million years thought I’d say… it’s time to consider a mom van!
I swore I would never consider a van. Ever.
But then we rented one for a weekend trip with family. Oh heavens… that thing was amazing.
So that’s where our goal is set. In 2017 we’d like to invest in a used mid-2000’s van! (O.M.G. I can’t believe I just said that out loud… my 25 year old self would be cringing right now!)
Just one loan stands in our way, so I’m motivated. With patience and perseverance we can do this. Pay off one of our loans to free up that extra cash for a new van. 🙂
