This June, I had the great pleasure of reading Married ’til Monday, a novel by Denise Hunter.
The book promised to be a light, summer romance written from a unique perspective – a divorced couple, forced to pretend to be married and living happily ever after. Thankfully it more than delivered!
In Married ’til Monday, Denise hunter tells the story of Ryan and Abby. A divorced couple that hasn’t seen each other for a few years, until unexpectedly a family members invitation, forces them to face the lie Abby has been telling about the state of their relationship. They agree to spend a weekend pretending they are still living happily ever after, but it doesn’t go as smoothly as they had expected, and soon they discover a whole lot more about themselves and their relationship than either of them expected.
Married til Monday was a great read – 5 stars in my opinion! This light and easy read was very unique and creatively written. A very relate-able set of characters draws you in and leaves you dying to read “just one more page.” (It goes without saying, I stayed up far too late reading, instead of sleeping.) I would highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good love story this summer!
Married til Monday is available for purchase on amazon.
